Kurzemes Pavasaris 2012: international orienteering event for the tenth time! This year in Pokaiņi!

Orienteering Club SALDUS and Dobele Municipality are delighted to invite You to the tenth international orienteering competition Kurzemes Pavasaris 2012!

This year we invite You to visit on of the most mysterious place in Latvia - Pokaini forest. The area has never been used for orienteering before. Terrain in this place offers a lot of challenges - stone piles, smaller and bigger outstanding stones, deep depressions with smaller swamps inside and lots more.

We hope that the terrain and area which so many times has been related to magic and unknown powers will offer real challenges for Your orienteering skills.

Competitions will take place during two days – on Saturday and Sunday, April 7 and 8 respectively. As usually sum of two days will determine the overall winners: in middle (middle course will be a WRE event for elite classes) and long course.

During Your free time we suggest You to visit a beatiful town of Dobele and its environs.
